Legacies in your Will - A gift for future generations
The SMPPA is always extremely grateful for any gifts or legacies received, however small. Bequests to the SMPPA are fully exempt from Inheritance Tax in the United Kingdom. Should you wish to include the SMPPA in your Will, you may find the example wording set out below helpful: –
“I give free of tax, to the Slipper Mill Pond Preservation Association CIO (Charity registered in England, number 1180249), the sum of £ …………. for general purposes and I declare that the receipt of their Treasurer or other proper Officer shall be a full and sufficient discharge.”
