Local Wildlife Site LWS) & Site of Nature Conservation Importance
The Sussex Wildlife Trust surveyed the Pond in 2021 and the results were reviewed by the LWS Technical Panel, who decided that the site will continue to be designated as a LWS. This has been notified to the local planning authority so that they can take account of it in implementing Local Plan policies.
